Knowledge Assessments -
Marking Guide

The Marking Guide provides benchmark answers to the Student Knowledge Assessment. The Knowledge Assessment is designed to be assessed prior to carrying out the Performance Assessments. This is so that the student has the knowledge required to complete the practical assessment safely and competently. These are targeted to stimulate short and accurate answers rather than open 'essay' style responses.

Performance Benchmark Guideline

The Performance Benchmark Guideline provides observable behaviours that should be demonstrated by the student to achieve competency when completing the Observation Checklist.  It is very important the RTO contextualises the samples provided to Support by SDL to ensure they reflect the RTO's Training Environment.

Policies and Procedures

The Training Package often requires the student to interpret particular workplace policies and procedures. Support by SDL provides general policies and procedures required by the Training Package that can be adopted by the RTO. The Policies and Procedures are used for students to reference in learning activities and assessments. The Policies and Procedures are for student learning purposes only.
